Too excited to wait!

I just can’t help it! We are 21 days until we close and I can’t wait to move in! This house is 116 years old and still standing up strong! I lay up often at night and think about all the families/people that have occupied this home! What were they like? What did they do for a living? Were they happy while they lived there? I wish I could let them all know that I LOVE this house!

As I think about this more and more, I need to know its history! To think I absolutely disliked history classes in high school. Honestly, I’m ashamed to say that I barely passed all my history classes with C’s all four years. Here I am many years later loving history! I am very geeked out at the moment about this!

Let’s just stay today I hit the jackpot to help me get started! Huge shout out to the Rockford Public Library for the unbelievable references and one AMAZING historian working today! I can’t wait to share it all with you, but that will be for another time. In the mean time just enjoy the happy look of my selfie, amongst all of these historical books! Cheers!
